Fentons Business IT Solutions is a leading Managed IT Service Provider in the Sussex, Kent and Hampshire area and we are recruiting for an Administrative Specialist. The challenging position will require someone with excellent Customer Service skills, strong organisational and communication skills, who has experience with using Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.

The qualified candidate will have the drive and initiative to help support our growing customer base, as well as share our vision, values, and commitment to premium Customer Service.

This role is crucial to the business and is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual, with a minimum of 4 years’ customer service and office administration experience, (preferably in a Contracts and/or financial environment). Being someone who is keen to take on this challenging role by making a difference in a fast moving and continually developing company.

Who we are looking for: 

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in an Office administrative role (required)
  • Experience in a Contracts and/or financial environment (preferred)
  • Excellent customer service; face to face and on telephone
  • Good customer awareness, ability to manage customer expectations
  • Effective communication skills and style, able to adapt to various customer types
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong multitasking capabilities and time management
  • Positive nature, self-starter, self-motivated, team player
  • Extremely organised, able to multi-task work under pressure and against timelines
  • Keen interest in technology and innovation (preferred)
  • A good understanding of office administration best practices
  • A full clean driving license with own car (preferred)

Responsibilities (include, although not exhaustive): 

  • Help with the smooth running of day-to-day operations
  • Finance tasks and renewals – end to end process with renewals for, contracts, warranties, subscriptions etc.
  • Invoicing charges/contracts
  • Resolve invoice queries relating to own work
  • Familiarisation with and updates to, ticketing system
  • Administration updates provided by Service Desk team for customer devices
  • Organising team social events
  • Posting social media updates
  • Manage proactive email campaigns, with customer responses and raising tickets
  • Manage orders mailbox
  • Provide Excel reports and pivot tables to management
  • Provide standard reports to Clients

The Salary

The salary is £18,000 to £20,000 – Pro-rata
