SALARY: £30,000 – £34,000

We’re looking for a highly skilled 3rd Line IT Support professional to join our customer focused team, who has the drive and determination to help us support our growing client base. The role has the potential for progression toward Project Management.

This full time, permanent position will be based at our newly refurbished office within BizSpace, Littlehampton, with on-site client visits when required.

Job details

In this role as an IT support engineer you will be expected to provide a 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support service to a multi-client environment.  You will be working in a team of experienced engineers. Some of the duties of this job include:

  • Manage and perform a whole range of IT projects
  • Troubleshoot user problems over the phone using remote access software
  • Accurate documentation and time recording of all activities conducted
  • Maintenance and support of client networks, equipment, software and services
  • Responsible for 3rd Line escalations from other engineers
  • Assisting 1st and 2nd with technical support of external clients
  • Traveling to and from client sites
  • Working (37.5 hours) on weekly rota between 8:00am – 5:30pm, Monday – Friday

Job requirements

  • Excellent customer service and telephone manner
  • Minimum of 4 years IT support experience, preferably in a similar multi-client environment
  • The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements
  • Microsoft qualification preferable
  • Strong multitasking capabilities
  • Strong server, cloud, desktop and networking skills
  • Must have own reliable transport
