JOB TYPE: Full-time (37.5 hours) on weekly rota between 8:00am – 5:30pm

SALARY: £27,000 – £30,000 Pro-rata

Fenton I.T Ltd is a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) providing technological IT Solutions and Support, to businesses across the South.

Founded in 2007, the family-owned business has experienced exciting growth over recent years and today we employ a dynamic and expert team, made up of 9 team-spirited people.

We’re looking for a highly skilled 2nd Line IT Support professional to join us, who has the drive and determination to help us support our growing client base. The qualified candidate must share our vision, values and commitment to premium Customer Service.

Responsibilities

Some of the duties of this job include:

  • perform a whole range of IT initiatives and projects, giving premium customer service
  • troubleshoot user problems over the phone using remote access software
  • accurate documentation and time recording of activates performed
  • maintenance and support of client networks, equipment, software and services
  • responsible for 1st and 2nd Line escalations from other engineers
  • traveling to and from client sites as required
  • working a weekly rota between 8:00am – 5:30pm, Monday – Friday

Job requirements

  • excellent customer service and telephone manner
  • minimum 4 years of IT support experience, preferably in a similar multi-client environment
  • the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements
  • Microsoft qualification preferable
  • passion and drive for I.T technology and solutions
  • confident decision making
  • strong multitasking capabilities and time management
  • strong server, cloud, desktop and networking skills
  • must have own reliable transport
