Impassioned for technology from an early age James achieved his HND in Computing before starting his career as an IT Administrator for a London based marketing firm in 1996. After 12 years of service, obtaining his MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) and working his way up to the position of Senior Systems Administrator James decided to start his own IT Support business – Fenton IT. After an IT career spanning 16 years, he’s more passionate than ever about new technologies continuously monitoring new trends and trialling new solutions.
Abigail Fenton
Co-owner
Having worked for companies such as Southern Water and the RAC, Abigail comes from a marketing and customer service background – all skills that have come in very useful in the creation, and day-to-day running, of Fenton IT. From the outset she has ensured that the businesses key focus is on delivering a great customer service experience, alongside technological expertise, and this is very much at the core of everything we do. Abigail also has a passion for technology and is currently studying towards Microsoft certification.
Dylan Gibson
Senior IT Support Engineer
Having working with Fenton IT for nearly 2 years Dylan is a Senior IT Support Engineer. With 10 years of experience as an IT professional working for companies such as EDF, The Bodyshop and Honeywell he has gained knowledge of a wide range of software including Microsoft, Citrix, SAP and mainframe. Dylan is committed to using his technical abilities to perform to a high standard, while priding himself on offering a high standard of customer service.
Jason Edmonds
Senior IT Support Engineer
A conscientious and enthusiastic IT professional with a passion for developing and improving IT systems. Having originally trained as a chef, Jason retrained for a career as an IT professional, by undertaking an HND in Business Information Technology at the University of Hertfordshire. He has now worked as an IT Engineer for 12 years. Prior to starting with Fenton IT Jason worked for TalkTalk where he was recognised with the prestigious TalkTalk People Award 2011.
Chris Jones
IT Support Contractor
As an experienced IT Contractor, Chris assists Fenton IT during busy periods. Having helped cover our support desk of over 6 months he has a good knowledge and rapport with many of our clients. Having worked in IT for 15 years he’s performed roles such as IT Helpdesk Supervisor and is a valued resource.
